Dr. Angelo Labrinakos, PT, ATC
I am part owner of Kinetic Physical Therapy, serve as the Director of Athletic Training Services, and a treating physical therapist in our Adolescent Sports Medicine Program (ASMP).
I earned my Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University in May of 1997. I completed clinical rotations with the West Chester University Football team, West Chester University Men’s Basketball team and Owen J. Roberts High School. After graduation, I worked for Commonwealth Orthopedic Associates (Reading, PA) as a physician extender for their orthopedic surgeons and was contracted to Daniel Boone School District for Athletic Training services. After providing exemplary care to its student-athletes and developing great relationships with the parents/coaches/faculty, Daniel Boone School District hired me as their Head Athletic Trainer.
I earned my Masters’ in Physical Therapy in May of 2005, and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in December of 2006 from Neumann College. As a physical therapist, I have treated a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries, with specific interest in athletic injuries (adolescent population), and musculoskeletal disorders of the spine. I look to gain further expertise in manual therapy techniques and treatment of pediatric/adolescent concussions.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife Laura, our beautiful daughters Katelyn (2008) and Mady (2011), and our dog Sammy. Other interests include cross-fit/tabata style workouts, running and trying to work on my golf game. I am also a very passionate Philadelphia sports fan (4 for 4!).
